I gained my qualification at Pearson’s School of Floristry in Australia. I have always worked in creative industries, but floristry was an unexpected career change for me.
During my first year living in Sydney, I’d walk past a neighbour’s flower studio every day, intrigued by the buckets full of colourful and exotic flowers. Not long after plucking up the courage to ask more about their business I joined them on the 4am trip to the Sydney flower markets, and from that moment I was hooked!
I moved back to the UK with my husband and two children in 2020, and set up The Harbour Florist (named after Sydney harbour) in a home studio in Berkshire. I’ve flowered some amazing weddings over the past few years, and love working closely with couples to bring their flower vision to life. I have a keen eye for detail and love to plan, which means that you can relax knowing it’s all under control.
Our studio is tucked away in the village of Cold Ash, near Newbury. I’m always happy to meet in person to share my portfolio and talk together about what amazing wedding flowers looks like for you.
Designing flowers for a wedding is a huge honour. I look forward to meeting you, to hear about your wedding-day dreams and to help design unforgettable floral moments for you.
